About

Us.

USDT, a place where young and innovative minds meet together to appreciate the wonders of science and engineering. Our team is ready and determined to set foot out in the world of technology. We want to build technology. We as a team believe in unity, teamwork, and success. Our team welcomes each and every student who believes in making marvels and setting an example. This is the right place for beginning.

Mission Statement.

USDT aims to construct a drone that has the ability to understands the surroundings, auto-lift and complete a flight fully automated. We aspire to build a drone which can detect hindrance and follow the given commands. All the teams are working together and looking forward to come out with a new and advanced drone.

SOFTWARE.

The Software team will be working on coding intelligence into the drone allowing components onboard to talk to each other. This integration will mostly be coded in python. Some features were working on are AI intelligence like obstacle detection and collision avoidance using various different sensors and modules. We are also going to work towards a user control app that allows manual control over the drone at any time.

RACING.

Drone racing is a competitive sport where pilots control racing drones around tight tracks in the quickest time. They push their builds to the absolute limit in terms of speed, agility, and durability. These drones are equipped with low-latency FPV cameras allowing the pilots to see live footage though head-mounted displays. Races are classified based on size and weight, trying to build the fastest possible drone to complete a race pushing the bar even higher.

HARDWARE.

The Hardware department of the USDT project is responsible with the design aspect of the drone. Our team will be working on developing, designing, and testing drone hardware components. We will be 3D modelling parts such as the frame, soldering connections between the control boards, and comparing parts for different builds.
